Mr. Bashline joined the Firm in 1980, following Army service as a helicopter pilot, including two combat tours in the Viet Nam conflict. He specializes in complex civil litigation.
He has trial experience in such diverse cases as securities fraud claims, including civil RICO issues; employment law claims on behalf of both employers and employees; oil and gas lease disputes; commercial real estate disputes; law and medical partnership breakups, lender liability claims, medical malpractice defense; Oil Spill Recovery Act suits; Jones Act, FELA, and Longshore claims; product liability claims from automotive, agricultural, and aviation equipment; insurance coverage litigation for both insureds and insurers, and in early years with the Firm, numerous auto accident, slip and fall, and Workers’ Compensation suits appealing from Board awards.
